WSOP Europe: Norbert Szecsi Wins His Sixth Bracelet.

In Rozvadov, Norbert Szecsi beats his opponents in the World Series of Poker Europe. He wins after € 1,650 NLHE / PLO Mixed Event by leaving with his sixth bracelet. Thanks to this victory, the Hungarian wins a tidy sum of € 86,500. This Thursday takes place the High Roller at € 25,500, a tournament that will especially attract the attention of reporters from Club Poker and Winamax.

A Player With Multiple Performances

Norbert Szecsi has already managed to grab a WSOP bracelet in 2013 in Las Vegas exceeding 2,100 entries in a no-limit’hold’em tournament with $ 1,000 buy-in and winning the sum of 345 037 dollars. He beat his competitors to the post by starting with one of the most envied trophies of the circuit in the Czech Republic. His earnings therefore reach € 2,355,426 in total. This award was highly deserved since around the table, nothing of the leaders in the field including Shaun Deeb, the essential player of the WSOP Player of the Year ranking. The latter already has four WSOP bracelets by being the winner of the Omaha championship with $ 25,000 pot limit and the event of $ 10,000 no-limit hold’em max-limit with big blind antes. Overall, Deeb has taken in $ 2,936,292 since the start of the year. This time, Szecsi took the lead in the final hand. Over the course of his career, the Hungarian poker pro has already earned 408 player points from Player of the Year Cards. He finished second in the European Poker Tour Barcelona 2018 at € 10,300 for $ 732,838 and 1,500 points.

Some French players also shone during this competition even if they are not in the top of the finalists. Among them, Julien Sitbon who is positioned in fourth place with a gain of € 25,600. None managed to reach the table of eight finalists of the event after the elimination phase including Ryan Riess, Anthony Zinno and Allen Kessler between 14 th and 16 th place. The program still reserves a few tournaments at the King’s Casino including the High Roller at € 25,500 and the € 100,000 Super High Roller without forgetting the Main Event at € 10,350 from this Saturday. In total, the WSOP Europe 2018 registered 241 players with a final prize pool of € 343,425.
